Valentine’s Day Getaway
It’s time to get back out! Things are slowly opening up again and most of us are anxious to get out of the house. We invited friends Alfie and Kristen to head down the Cape with us for one night for Valentine’s Day. This time of year is somewhat quiet down the Cape with the cold weather. But it is so nice to drive down the coast and take a walk on the beach even though its chilly. The sun feels so good and the sound of the waves makes you feel far from home. Woods Hole, Falmouth, MA
Breakfast at “The Pie in the Sky” Our plan was to go to the “Vineyard” for the day and then stay at the Woods Hole Inn that I had previously made reservations for that evening. Since we arrived super early in Woods Hole, we grabbed a quick bite at this great outdoor breakfast place called, “Pie in the Sky”. Good to get there early because it’s obviously very popular. They had great sandwiches and pastries. We got a croissant sandwich with chourico, egg and cheese! Yummy! Our ferry left at 8:35. Tickets are cheap, $8.50 each way if you are a walk on passenger.
