Needle & Thread, Providence RI
A place with the coolest vibe and great food! This basement space used to be Contes Dry Cleaners. Thus the creative name “Needle & Thread”. Perfectly placed old sewing machines placed throughout carry out the theme while rich dark colors with dimmed romantic lighting give the vibe of coziness and an intimate feel. Rich reds and warm browns, drapery, brick, and design pressed tin on the ceiling. The mystique and intimate feel is just what you expect form a speakeasy. TO SIP As it says on the menu, the drink are meant “to be sipped” and enjoyed as they are creative and delicious! Worth every penny! That’s what brought…

Escape Rooms
This is such a fun thing to do as a couple or with a group. My husband and I went with friends to the Lock & Key Escape Rooms in Pawtucket, RI. There were different themed rooms, all with different skill levels. We did the hardest one, The Sorcerer’s Curse, and it was definitely a challenge. Not recommend for a first timer. But we had fun finding clues and piecing them together. They do watch you and give you clues. We had 60 minutes to complete our challenge but were not successful. But what fun would it be to go back if it were that easy! Check out…

Valentine’s Day Getaway
It’s time to get back out! Things are slowly opening up again and most of us are anxious to get out of the house. We invited friends Alfie and Kristen to head down the Cape with us for one night for Valentine’s Day. This time of year is somewhat quiet down the Cape with the cold weather. But it is so nice to drive down the coast and take a walk on the beach even though its chilly. The sun feels so good and the sound of the waves makes you feel far from home. Betsy’s Diner For breakfast we stopped at Betsy’s Diner. The food looked amazing. Could’ve used…

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse
I have been here multiple times. It’s a great place to try a new beer and their mixed drink list is amazing! Even their non-alcoholic drinks are creative and different. Before COVID the menu was huge. It has been cut back until further notice but there is still a large menu. The appetizers are highly recommended. No one has ever been disappointed so far with the entree’s. The service is on point even during this time of separating and distancing. Definitely a must. The outdoor patio is so enjoyable on a nice day. Just be careful you don’t enjoy it too…
